Oooo La La

Paris flat of Parisian gallery director Didier Krzentowski, wife Clémence, and daughter Clara.

I am obsessed with this frame installation by artist Alan McCollum.
More of Alan's work at Barbara Krakow Gallery. Alan is spelled Alan on dwell, and Allan on Wikipedia and at the Barabara Krakow Gallery. Not sure which is correct.

Marc Newson, Orgone stretch lounge

Krzentowski claims a rare pair of 1952 Paulin chairs for Muebles T.V. are the origin for the design of his famous Ribbon chair.

Marc Newson Embryo chair from 1988

At Krzentowski’s Galerie Kreo, Diode lamps designed by Marc Newson have been produced in a limited edition of 18 pairs exclusively for an exhibition.

*Go to dwell for story and more photos by Phiippe Munda. Originally published in dwell magazine, June 2004.

*Galerie Kreo, where Didier Krzentowski, expert in design and contemporary art, and his wife Clémence Krzentowski have brought together a collection of furniture and objects by internationally renowned contemporary designers.
