Create Yourself

The new year is the perfect time to make some changes in your life. For me it's pretty intense change considering I'm (sadly) counting down the days until my husband leaves for a year of training with the Air Force. I'm trying to make the best of the situation. I think it will be a little shocking not waking up next to the man I've slept next to every night for the past 4.5 years; not talking to him; not laughing with him, etc. I'm not one to be depressed so I'll be keeping my self very busy. I work full-time, my house is on the market (keeping it spotless with two large dogs is time-consuming), and my home office is in desperate need of some paper-shredding and I've got a stack of magazines (I won't tell you how tall) that I am going through.

Ok, enough about me...What changes are you planning to make this year? Seriously, I'd love to hear your goals for 2010! I will be posting my New Year's Resolutions/Goals once I really think about them and decide which things I seriously want to focus on this year.

Sounds like you'll make the best of your husband being gone. I am sure the time will fly by.

My office has a HUGE stack of paper to be shredded. And I know it will take hours. So I bought a small metal bucket at Lowe's- and I'm going to burn the paper in my backyard. Cheap and quick!

I'm hoping to organize and simplify in 2010. Clean out and get rid of stuff that we don't use!

I'm training for a half marathon, and finishing up my MBA this year! I'd love to make my house look cuter like yours as well!
