March = Spring Break (for some people)

Usually in February I go to Florida to visit family and friends (I used to live there), but also because in Kansas City, February is miserable. I don't have real seasonal depression, but I tend to get a little irritable because I really really hate cold, snowy weather. 40 degrees is not warm people! Stop telling me that it's getting warmer...75 is warmer. Luckily, I do get to go to San Antonio this month to see my husband (after 8 weeks), then on to Austin to visit my dear friend Camille from Style Notes. San Antonians, do you have any restaurant or shopping suggestions?

With spring break coming up (for teachers, students, etc.) I think, where would I go if I could go on spring break? The Epic Hotel in Miami (below) is looking mighty fine. If you aren't signed up for Jetsetter, e-mail me and I'll invite you. It's sort of torture if you can't or aren't going on a vacation anytime soon, but there are always amazing photos to keep you dreaming!

I just did a post on my truly quick trip to Miami. Not to torture you (!), but check it out if you want to see more incredible Miami hotels!
Even New Orleans is cold right now...not like your cold, but miserable to us nonetheless!

Ok, seriously smitten with your blog. It's satisfying when you find one that makes you smile post after post. It's like that salty piece of popcorn that just makes you want more.... oh now I just sound creepy. Yum! xo

Boudro's Texas Bistro on the Riverwalk. I live in Dallas and visit SA every once in a while. This place is super yummy and perfect for a date.
