Marc-y Marc

For my birthday C really wanted me to take the plunge on the bag. He gave me a deadline...this Sunday. I finally did it. I posted this Marc by Marc Jacobs Lil Riz Dr Q bag a while ago, and continued on my search because when I saw it in person, I wanted the leather to be more of a matte rather than a shine. But after being a crazed purse-searcher for weeks, I am exhaused, and I realized that it was perfect. I would prefer non-shiny leather, but I think it will dull after some good use, and everything else about it, I love. The 30% off sign might have helped...can you believe that, it was like my fate! I even gave fate a chance by leaving it in the store for a day, and it was still there waiting for me.

I felt bad for anyone trying to help me (especially the guy in Burberry) because I had already memorized the bag selection on just about all of the major websites. The guy at Burberry was trying to show me different bags, and I was like, "Nope, top-stitching. Nope, too many straps. Nope, too small." It was a lost cause for him. Now I can get on with my life. But if you are looking for a certain type of bag, seriously, e-mail me. I know exactly what's out there right now.
