I'm always drooling over Lisa's recipes, and her Pumpkin Spice Donuts could not be ignored. So I got myself a mini donut pan and dug the flour out of the back of my pantry. Let's just say they have disappeared due to deliciousness. *Peet's coffee in my cup, yum!
Last night an old friend of mine from high school, Ingrid Gerdes, came to DC as part of her Shed tour. She's an extremely talented singer and I love to see people follow their passions in life, which she clearly has. She is an amazing live performer. Do something fun this weekend and check out her shows tonight in Easton, MD and tomorrow in Harrisburg, PA. And if you live in the Boston area, that is where she is located, so I'm sure you can catch a live performance sometime.
And I just about had a heart attack when I saw this. Now, I'm completely aware that it is a tiny, unattributed photo, but growing up obsessed with magazines, it's pretty cool. Totally nerdy of me to even mention it here, but I'd be lying if I wasn't excited! (Photo No. 8, page opposite of the masthead in the January issue of Lucky Magazine). It's from when I went to the LuckyFABB conference in New York in September (posts here, here and here). Pictured with Caroline & Mary.
