Yesterday I spent the afternoon up in Chevy Chase (a suburb of DC). There is upscale shopping like Dior and Gucci, and all of your other favorites like J.Crew, Neiman Marcus, and even a Nordstrom Rack. You get it all, and it's all good. I spent part of the afternoon getting my hair a much needed update at Dessange, then strolled around the shops in the gorgeous weather.
I had read that there was an Anthropologie Accessories store, so I had to check it out. Anthropologie is such an interesting store, and while most of the fashion isn't necessarily my style, it's always fun to explore everything in the stores and I almost always leave with a gift, book, or candle! However, I found some chic items that are pretty darn cool, like this Party Animals Wallpaper, love the name, and this chic Scaled Floro Satchel.
The Anthropologie Accessories store is much more minimal than the regular stores that are chalk full of stimulation. It was refreshing. They have shoes, bags, and jewelry, some is in all of the stores and online, some isn't. Their jewelry never disappoints. Case in point...
This necklace comes in white, green and pink, and for the life of me, I couldn't chose between the two. They both give off such different vibes and are affordable at $58 (hello VDay!).
More after the jump!
Arriba! What a fun bag. It would take a bold woman to carry this thing around, but definitely fun!
My credit card is happy I walked out without these beauties... Melbu Tote in green, Golfo De Paria Necklace, Voluspa Cut Glass Jar in Baltic Amber (my favorite candle!), and the Kavali Jewelry Box.
And of course they always change up their windows and exterior visuals, which always makes me want to visit each Anthropologie I go by. Never a lack of inspiration.
