A dreamy bedroom seems only fitting for now. We are still moving (I know, I know enough about moving already, but we overlapped a month with our current place so I take a little over at a time), I've been painting my new place for days, finishing up a lot of work and paintings, and I'm just reeeeally tired and ready to have a bit of a normal week again.
I've also been obsessively looking at inspiration images & items for our new place! So exciting! Isn't this bedroom amazing?! It was designed by Jarlath Mellett, published in the Jan/Feb 2011 issue of Lonny. It's definitely an inspiration for my new bedroom. I love the simplicity and calming effect. Take me there now...

The last time we moved we had that overlap time. Oh how it dragged on, but it was a little less stressful. I love that bedroom. I am ready to crawl right in. xo
Calming is the perfect word for this bedroom! It is soothing and says, lay down, relax, stay awhile:) Hope you get to do that soon!
that is a super relaxing looking bedroom! i love the rug and is that a bean bag chair? I think i would just pick more colorful linens

I love it! The simplicity is great, but the mix of textures keeps it from being boring. You're so lucky you get to move everything over piecemeal over a month -- makes for a much less stressful move (well, in theory anyway!).
Love this! So serene. I love neutrals in the bedroom.
i'm in the process of moving as well, and think i must be annoying the heck out of everyone on pinterest with my apt inspiration images.
this bedroom looks like such a relaxing oasis!
White brick -- a feature we don't get here in So Cal very often! That plus fur is heaven to me. I missed this image so thank you for posting it!
