LINK LOVE: The Hunger Games & Neil Gaiman

ERIN GATES: Great feature of Erin Gates on The Everygirl this week. Don't miss it. (Photos above from Erin's office via The Everygirl, photos by Danielle Moss)

VIDEO: If you haven't seen this video of Neil Gaiman giving a commencement speech at the University of the Arts this year, you must watch it. Moving, moving, speech. Especially for artists and creatives.

BOOK: Was literally up until 4 a.m. last night finishing The Hunger Games. Couldn't put it down! I tried to resist reading it since I'm not much of a hype-book-follower but now I get it.

VOTE: My friends over at One Love Organics (love their products!) could use your help. They could potentially win a grant if you just give them one little vote :) Check out the details here.

DIY: When I saw Maryland fashion blogger Christa of Fashion After Breakfast wearing these gray and white polka dot jeans, I was thinking WHERE DID SHE GET THOSE!?! Then a few posts down I saw she DIYed them. They are pretty rad.

QUOTE: A lesson I should tattoo on myself. "The trick is to enjoy life. Don't wish away your days waiting for better ones ahead." —Marjorie Pay Hinckley

PRINT-TASTIC: It's pretty obvious I'm into art and art prints. So for my June Ideabook for Houzz, I rounded up some of my favorite prints.

GUEST POST: I recently guest posted over at Small Shop. A fun Art Inspired post with earthy fashion accessories and shoes.

DC INSPIRED: I started blogging for the Washingtonian's Fashion Blog a while ago, but their home blog must have felt left out, so now you can find me there too! They loved my Art Inspired column, so we thought DC Inspired was a perfect match. Check out the three I've done so far inspired by the Cherry Blossoms, artist Erika Rukin, and artist Daniel Calder.

Hope you have a wonderful afternoon! I'm going to go take a dip in a pool, and maybe a nap since I read until the wee hours of the morning.

You have such awesome links! It makes for a wonderful Sunday morning. I'll admit, I haven't read Hunger Games yet and am still resisting it. I'm sure it's great - - I actually remember when I resisted reading Twilight for a long time but after reading it, I got it too ;) Hope you had a nice weekend!
