I don't know about you, but I don't really listen to fashion rules. I wear navy & black, brown & black, and I don't think you need to perfectly match. One of the silliest rules is that you aren't supposed to wear white after Labor Day. Really? Take out an entire color out of your wardrobe after a certain day? Um, no.
I consider white a classic and a staple in my wardrobe. I do think you have to be careful how you wear white in the fall and winter, but you can certainly wear it year-round.
I myself am a huge white t-shirt kind of gal. I think they are so easy to throw on with a pair of jeans, great shoes, and a jacket, add some great accessories and you are ready to go! I have a few white t-shirts (short sleeve, long sleeve, tanks) in heavy rotation in my wardrobe and laundry — so obviously keeping my whites nice and bright is important. Hello Tide VIVID White + Bright! Also DC's water isn't kind to my whites like Kansas City's was, so it's a new problem I've encountered, making my detergent even more important.
Are you a rule breaker like me? Do you want to win $3,000? Visit the Tide VIVID White + Bright Rule Breakers of the Week Contest on Facebook, and upload a photo of yourself wearing white for a chance to win a shopping spree from Tide. Woo hoo!
